This is the vanilla version of Marlin Firmware 2.x pre-configured for Creality Ender 3 printers with original or generic BL Touch sensors. The standard configuration file from Marlin distribution was carefully reviewed to include the latest Ender 3 specific settings from the official Creality firmware and from Antclabs.
It comes with Cura as the slicer to convert your STL files to gcode for use with this printer. I upgraded Cura to the latest version and after a print the screen still shows abort or cancel but nothing can be clicked on. This is a Cura issue not the printer. The automatic support generation in Cura works great. You might want to add some support here and there manually without plastering the buildplate with unned. Installed my new EZBoard Lite on my Ender 3. Have the dual z kit, glass bed, direct drive conversion, ezout, and ezabl. Got everything setup and calibrated, including setting new z offset but when i went to do first print it put the nozzle couple mm's above the bed like it was completely ignoring the z-offset i set.
Autolevel for the A8 Anet 3D Printer With autolevel your printer will scan the surface of your heatbed and adjust the Z-axis offset according to the position. Therefore you will not need to adjust the heatbed any more.
First Layers- Setting The Z Offset. The Z Offset is the initial distance between the nozzle and the print bed. It is adjusted by turning the screw mounted on the back of the case, to the left of the Z stage, up or down. As the Z stage rises toward home, a limit switch on the top of it bumps into the screw and stops the motion. To use this file, copy the contents to a test file and name it alignment_code.gcode and save to the printers memory card, then select change memory card, followed by print from memory card selecting alignment_code.gcode and pressing the select knob to start the job. The printer will then start to run the job in a diagonal pattern allowing you 20 seconds at each stop to ajust the bed screws.
In Cura, go to the settings tab, then select printer, then goto manage printer. Select your Ender 3 and click the machine settings button. Under the printer tab you should see “Start G Code” and “End G Code” at the bottom. In the “End G code” box you need to edit/delete the lineBoruto episode 1 viz
